From the Cradle to the Rave
It all started when a family member gave us a tie dye kit for Christmas 2019, to have fun with our children. We stuck it away with the legos, slime, play-doh, and all the other "messy" items we just weren't prepared for. Fast forward to 2020, the dreaded Quarantine. There wasn't much else to do, no stores to visit, no places to play. Mom and children busted out the kit to mess around. It was fun, the shirts were great, and many started requesting items. We made shirts here and there for friends and family. 11/29/2020 Dad got in on the action and really blew us all out of the water with amazing designs. We still didn't think much of it, because we were having fun. Our children started the ball season, and we wanted to make shirts for all of the amazing parents that supported the children in the stands. They were an instant hit and another ball team wanted to place an order for the same style. We had our first real order in June 2021! We kept having requests for shirts, and urged to sell on a regular basis. July 2021, I Would Dye 4 U became reality. We quickly got busy ordering blanks, dying, and building our inventory. We had custom orders in the meantime, and our first festival was in October 2021. We had a great time and made a profit, so we knew we could make this happen. While festivals are fun, we realized it is not the easiest to do weekly, with children in tow. Hence the online shop coming to life. This is a family venture, with participation from all of us.
