Shopify Store Now Open for Orders Until We Return to Markets
We have missed the markets more than we can easily put into words.
There is something special about setting up the stall, unfolding the colours, and seeing people pick up a piece because it feels like them. Tie dye is best when it is seen up close. The swirls, folds, bursts, and tiny surprises all feel different in natural light.
While we wait until we can get back into markets, we still wanted a simple way to keep orders going. So we have launched a Shopify store for anyone who wants to order from us in the meantime. wedye4u.myshopify.com
Why we opened the store now
Markets are a big part of how we share our work. They give us a chance to talk through colors, sizes, patterns, and custom ideas in person. They also let people feel the fabric and compare pieces side by side.
But being away from markets does not mean the dye pots stop.
We are still making pieces, still testing combinations, and still putting together the kind of colors that make tie dye fun in the first place. Opening the store gives us a way to keep that going without waiting for the next market day.
It also makes ordering easier. Instead of sending messages back and forth and trying to remember what is available, the shop gives everything a proper home.
What you can order
The store is set up for the pieces we currently have ready, along with any options we are able to offer at the time.
Depending on what is available, that may include:
Tie dye shirts
One-of-a-kind colorways
Hand-dyed pieces in different sizes
Fresh batches as they are made
Every tie dye piece has its own character. Even when we use the same colors, the final pattern can land a little differently. That is part of why we love it. No two pieces feel completely identical.
We will keep the store updated as items sell, new pieces are added, or stock changes.
Handmade still means handmade
Ordering online does not change the way the pieces are made.
The same hands are folding, binding, dyeing, rinsing, washing, and checking each item before it is ready. The same attention goes into choosing color combinations and making sure each piece feels worth wearing.
The Shopify site is just a more practical way to keep orders moving while markets are on pause.
It is not meant to replace the market experience forever. It is here to bridge the gap.
We still plan to return to markets
This online shop is for the meantime. We are looking forward to getting back into markets when we can.
We miss the quick chats, the familiar faces, the “just looking” that turns into a favorite find, and the joy of watching someone hold up a shirt and know it is the one.
Until then, the store lets us stay connected and keep sharing new work.
